The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Charlie Croft got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hans Gibbs came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Aberdeen F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Gibbs couldn't finish the play. Charlie Croft charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charlie Croft the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cloridorme getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Anibal Garceau hit a great ball. In the 25th match minute, Aberdeen F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aimé Flanagan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Aberdeen F.C. booed when Cloridorme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Gunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Aberdeen F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tony Barber hit a great ball. After 41 minutes of play Cloridorme's Charlie Croft was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 45th minute, Hans Gibbs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Buddy Peachey. The goal made the score 2-0.

The wind increased when Damien Béland made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Hans Gibbs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buddy Peachey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damien Béland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Damien Béland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cloridorme's supporters rose to their feet, but Damien Béland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Craig Latham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damien Béland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Latham having to interfere. Damien Béland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Craig Latham came out and tried to block the shot, but Damien Béland slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 69th minute. In the 86th minute Ivory McKenna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buddy Peachey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivory McKenna in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Buddy Peachey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damien Béland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Craig Latham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivory McKenna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
