With a little luck, Shebandowan's Merrill Dionne got control of the ball when Charlie Croft tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mario Gunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morris Rancourt hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Anatole Ballard took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Buddy Peachey. Buddy Peachey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 39th minute Anatole Ballard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buddy Peachey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Kelly Lewis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diodore Manley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Buddy Peachey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damien Béland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

A collision led to Shebandowan getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Keven Christensen hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anatole Ballard got free with Buddy Peachey in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Cloridorme's Bryan Nixon got a free kick in the 60th minute. Mario Gunn kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Cody Lévesque from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Buddy Peachey's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Merrill Dionne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damien Béland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 74th minute, but Buddy Peachey got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Cloridorme hanging dry this time. Diodore Manley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Merrill Dionne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Croft in the 80th minute of the match. Diodore Manley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddy Peachey having to interfere. Anatole Ballard might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Buddy Peachey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anatole Ballard ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damien Béland in the 89th minute of play forced Shebandowan's goalkeeper Merrill Dionne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
