The supporters of Aishihik booed when Ruel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garret Hemphill didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roscoe Barbour in the 34th minute of play forced Ruel's goalkeeper Tuan Ventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aishihik's zone, Ira Khan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoine McNeal came out of the goal and Ira Khan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barnabé Noel in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoine McNeal saved Aishihik from getting behind. Tuan Ventura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theirn Read in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Barnabé Noel made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Aishihik getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gautier Garcia hit a great ball. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Barnabé Noel scored 0-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antoine McNeal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barnabé Noel took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antoine McNeal. Antoine McNeal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 80 minutes into the game, Marcelino Riggs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ruel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aishihik the free kick. Tuan Ventura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roscoe Barbour, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ira Khan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuan Ventura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roscoe Barbour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antoine McNeal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Colby Quinn's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Ruel's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
