After a defensive mix-up in Whitworth AFC's zone, Alden McNally stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burt Benoit came out of the goal and Alden McNally tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thibault Draper was the one to do the kick off. Burt Benoit didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francis Keene went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Justin Medrano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibault Draper in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Whitworth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominique Hernandez to maneuver through the defense.
