Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joesph Bruner took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Leslie Lincoln managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrhead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leslie Lincoln was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joesph Bruner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Arden McRae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Campbellford's Justin Medrano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Campbellford from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leslie Lincoln got free with Justin Medrano in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Barrhead's Leslie Lincoln sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justin Medrano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joesph Bruner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 21 in the game by Leslie Lincoln from a close distance when the talented Justin Medrano managed to make a qualified save. Campbellford's players were relieved. 25 minutes into the match, Campbellford's goalkeeper Justin Medrano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leslie Lincoln. Barrhead's Nathaniel Norman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alden McNally in the 26th minute of play. Barrhead's Joesph Bruner got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joesph Bruner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Justin Medrano made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Leslie Lincoln sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Barrhead's Joesph Bruner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justin Medrano. That made the score 1-0 after 46 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francis Keene stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alden McNally sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nathaniel Norman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francis Keene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Rosario Fournier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campbellford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrhead the free kick. After 71 played minutes Campbellford got a freekick which was hit by Rosario Fournier. After recieving a nice pass, Barrhead's Roman Bartlett tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Barrhead was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joesph Bruner to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Joesph Bruner notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Campbellford's Justin Medrano. Justin Medrano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Campbellford's zone, Joesph Bruner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justin Medrano came out of the goal and Joesph Bruner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Francis Keene came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Campbellford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francis Keene couldn't finish the play. Campbellford's Justin Medrano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leslie Lincoln in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Leslie Lincoln shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Medrano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barrhead were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Campbellford for a fine match.
