Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilford Colvin started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Stirling getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Vern Dickson hit a great ball. Theron Clements fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrius Burke having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Edmundo Chaussée hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Nunez in the 15th minute of play forced Cadillac's goalkeeper Matt Kurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes, Cruz Ladd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cadillac and the Stirling players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Cadillac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cruz Ladd to maneuver through the defense. Willie Morin kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Stirling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymon Paige to maneuver through the defense. Wilford Colvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrius Burke having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stirling's Rodolfo Dawkins got a free kick in the 35th minute. Gilles Moore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Demetrius Burke. Stirling's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Marshall Nunez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marshall Nunez made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Theron Clements cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Demetrius Burke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Stirling's zone, Theron Clements stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrius Burke came out of the goal and Theron Clements tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cadillac's Wilford Colvin in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stirling's goalie prevented a goal. Marshall Nunez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Nunez in the 68th minute of play forced Cadillac's goalkeeper Matt Kurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matt Kurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Nunez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cadillac booed when Stirling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymon Paige didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gilles Moore came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Cadillac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilles Moore couldn't finish the play. Cadillac's Matt Kurtz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Cadillac from getting a goal against them. Demetrius Burke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilford Colvin in the 78th minute of the match. Edmundo Chaussée struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Matt Kurtz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stirling. When Marshall Nunez came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Stirling fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marshall Nunez couldn't finish the play. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cadillac.
