Jed Bragg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Cyrille Kaiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leroy Haas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warner Brady having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Warner Brady successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 11 minutes into the game, Tanner Hickey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wishart's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hussar the free kick. A collision led to Wishart getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Tanner Hickey hit a great ball. With a little luck, Hussar's Warner Brady got control of the ball when Eddie Miller tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jed Bragg, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cyrille Kaiser was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 18 minutes, Elden Woodruff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hussar and the Wishart players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hussar getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mike Grady hit a great ball. Jed Bragg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cyrille Kaiser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Warner Brady successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Gil Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Tanner Hickey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Gil Diaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cyrille Kaiser was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Eddie Miller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Warner Brady tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eddie Miller to make the kick off. Warner Brady made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Haas in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Hussar got a freekick which was hit by Mike Grady. Gil Diaz struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Cyrille Kaiser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hussar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Eddie Miller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wishart's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddie Miller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Warner Brady breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eddie Miller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddie Miller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddie Miller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warner Brady having to interfere. During the 87th minute of the match Elden Woodruff completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elden Woodruff a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 88 played minutes Hussar got a freekick which was hit by Elden Woodruff. If Eddie Miller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hussar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
