Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Norbert Ragland started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd play minute Loup Osborne came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Myles Nielsen. 1-0. After some careless play in the Barich defense, Norbert Ragland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carl Jackson. The Barich fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carl Jackson should have stopped the shot. In the 13th match minute, Bristol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Sauvé to maneuver through the defense. Loup Osborne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Myles Nielsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bristol's Myles Nielsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corin Rudolph in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Ragland during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barich booed when Bristol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Ragland didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Corin Rudolph elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Corin Rudolph got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corin Rudolph in the 25th minute of play forced Bristol's goalkeeper Myles Nielsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loup Osborne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Myles Nielsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corin Rudolph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Lambert Albert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Jackson. Barich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lambert Albert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 35 minutes into the match, Bristol's Norbert Ragland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Jackson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Myles Nielsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corin Rudolph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Corin Rudolph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loup Osborne in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Myles Nielsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Herb Rutherford kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Herb Rutherford kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Myles Nielsen. That made the score 3-2 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corin Rudolph stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bristol's Oscar Perdue got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Leandro Sauvé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lon Pennington was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Norbert Ragland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Norbert Ragland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gail Dupont hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Lambert Albert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bristol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lambert Albert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corin Rudolph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Myles Nielsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Barich's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Norbert Ragland fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Royal McGhee kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Corin Rudolph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Myles Nielsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loup Osborne in the 97th minute of play. Bristol's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
