Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Robertson FC's zone, Séverin Ibarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Royal Lane came out of the goal and Séverin Ibarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Royal Lane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederick Barrera in the 8th minute of the match. Clarence Gougeon kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Nolan Shaffer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Willis Bartlett. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Willis Bartlett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nolan Shaffer in the 18th minute of the match. If Nolan Shaffer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bart Welsh fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wallaceburg AFC's protests and gave Bart Welsh a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, one of Wallaceburg AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wallaceburg AFC. Simon Woodruff shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ermenegilde Moser who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Willis Bartlett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ermenegilde Moser took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willis Bartlett. Willis Bartlett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 40th minute Séverin Ibarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Royal Lane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nolan Shaffer's late challenge caught a Wallaceburg AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nolan Shaffer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Robertson FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nolan Shaffer hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, one of Robertson FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Wallaceburg AFC a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fernand Booker, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Robertson FC's Royal Lane. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nolan Shaffer to make the kick off. With a little luck, Robertson FC's Royal Lane got control of the ball when Séverin Ibarra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wallaceburg AFC's goalkeeper Willis Bartlett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Frederick Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Royal Lane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frederick Barrera in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Robertson FC's Marco Drew sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willis Bartlett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rainier Swartz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Royal Lane made a huge save. Ermenegilde Moser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermenegilde Moser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Willis Bartlett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermenegilde Moser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willis Bartlett having to interfere. Willis Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermenegilde Moser in the 81st minute of play. Rainier Swartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Royal Lane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rainier Cantrell charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rainier Cantrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Wallaceburg AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Robertson FC:s goal. The referee gave Robertson FC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Simon Woodruff, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wallaceburg AFC's Willis Bartlett. 3-1. Nolan Shaffer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wallaceburg AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
