Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kelley Trent to make the kick off. Vern Smiley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelley Trent in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Kelley Trent sped through Hecate FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vern Smiley. Harland Reeder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shawn Stout's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Philibert Trotter kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
