Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Emery Hurley started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Richelieu FC's zone, Dewey Hutchinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Sellers came out of the goal and Dewey Hutchinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th match minute, Richelieu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyndon Newman to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match Rayford Jorgensen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Sellers skillfully saved the ball. Cory Richey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elias Sellers. Richelieu FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emery Hurley in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Sellers saved Richelieu FC from getting behind. Nazaire Bloom stood somewhat misplaced when Theo Herring came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. 24 minutes into the match, Gunworth's Emery Hurley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Sellers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dewey Hutchinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Sellers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emery Hurley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emery Hurley in the 30th minute of play forced Richelieu FC's goalkeeper Elias Sellers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dewey Hutchinson came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Gunworth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dewey Hutchinson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Richelieu FC's Lyndon Newman got a free kick in the 39th minute. Dewey Hutchinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emery Hurley in the 43rd minute of play forced Richelieu FC's goalkeeper Elias Sellers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 49th minute Dewey Hutchinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Sellers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theo Herring stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Theo Herring managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Richelieu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theo Herring was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nazaire Bloom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Herring in the 57th minute of play. After 59 minutes Gunworth's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tony Leal who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Richelieu FC's corner Tony Leal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nazaire Bloom quite easily take care of the ball. After 61 minutes of play, Gunworth's Dewey Hutchinson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Sellers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nazaire Bloom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Herring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes, Danial Crook mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunworth and the Richelieu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Danial Crook hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Loic Merritt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrold Quinones in the 77th minute of play forced Gunworth's goalkeeper Nazaire Bloom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theo Herring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nazaire Bloom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jerrold Quinones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrold Quinones struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Nazaire Bloom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Richelieu FC. Jerrold Quinones kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With a little luck, Richelieu FC's Elias Sellers got control of the ball when Dewey Hutchinson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerrold Quinones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Theo Herring got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 99th minute by Emery Hurley got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
