Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franklin Parizeau in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusebio Purcell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Franklin Parizeau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusebio Purcell was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Columbus Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Burnsville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rueben Racicot to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Burnsville's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Parizeau came free, but Eusebio Purcell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rueben Racicot in the 23rd minute of play forced Deschambault's goalkeeper Arron Lavoie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arron Lavoie made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Columbus Martinez sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Deschambault's zone, Bruno Hampton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arron Lavoie came out of the goal and Bruno Hampton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rueben Racicot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mervin Sauvé during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mervin Sauvé kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Arron Lavoie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rayford Ewing's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The Deschambault fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arron Lavoie should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rayford Ewing to make the kick off. If Rayford Ewing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mervin Sauvé kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 62 minutes, Antoine Gareau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burnsville and the Deschambault players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, one of Burnsville:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Burnsville. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Deschambault. Étienne Joseph stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eusebio Purcell. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Columbus Martinez in the 68th minute of play forced Deschambault's goalkeeper Arron Lavoie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rayford Ewing struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Arron Lavoie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burnsville. In the 75th minute Columbus Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arron Lavoie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
