Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) Fairview's Willard McGuire started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Willard McGuire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bruce Lemelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Shunacadie AFC's Bruce Lemelin got control of the ball when Dee Avalos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denny Becerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Greene in the 10th minute of the match. If Mark Greene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Greene in the 23rd minute of play forced Fairview's goalkeeper Denny Becerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Waldron kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Denny Becerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodore Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Willard McGuire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruce Lemelin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Mark Greene scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denny Becerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Fairview's Willard McGuire slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruce Lemelin. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. When Willard McGuire came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Fairview fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willard McGuire couldn't finish the play. Mark Greene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Denny Becerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 61st minute, Mark Greene hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dee Avalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Lemelin having to interfere. Bruce Lemelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willard McGuire, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Willard McGuire notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Shunacadie AFC's Bruce Lemelin. Bruce Lemelin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Denny Becerra didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. Armando Guertin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Shunacadie AFC's Bruce Lemelin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willard McGuire in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fairview's Dominique Koenig got a free kick in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Fairview's goalkeeper Denny Becerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theodore Dalton. In the 93rd minute Shunacadie AFC were awarded a corner. Régis Martinez went to the cornerflag to take it. The Shunacadie AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fairview from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
