Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Douglas Boyd started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Douglas Boyd fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pedro Swenson, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 7 minutes, Douglas Boyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dodsland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Boyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Boyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Pedro Swenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Taloyoak FC's goalkeeper Pedro Swenson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robt Lépicier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Earl in the 15th minute of play forced Dodsland's goalkeeper Mason Sanders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Boyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heriberto Beausoleil hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Douglas Boyd kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Swenson. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Tod Addison kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Salvador Earl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taloyoak FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With his leg Pedro Swenson managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Dodsland's Robt Lépicier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Salvador Earl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mason Sanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terence Wise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mason Sanders having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dodsland's goalkeeper Mason Sanders, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Terence Wise could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Mason Sanders made a huge save. Pedro Swenson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Boyd, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Mason Sanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Earl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Earl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mason Sanders having to make a save. Mason Sanders made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Terence Wise sent off a good shot on target. Terence Wise could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Mason Sanders made a huge save. A collision led to Dodsland getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Granville Goodson hit a great ball. Douglas Boyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Pedro Swenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Taloyoak FC booed when Dodsland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Lacroix didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Steve Daly from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Mason Sanders's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 83rd match minute, Dodsland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Granville Goodson to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Earl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mason Sanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Earl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Earl in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mason Sanders saved Dodsland from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Dodsland's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Earl came free, but Mason Sanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
