Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Jordon Achin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willard McGuire, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Denny Becerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gary McLaughlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Armando Guertin fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fairview's protests and gave Armando Guertin a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Fairview got a freekick which was hit by Armando Guertin. If Willard McGuire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordon Achin came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Fairview's Willard McGuire. But to his dismay, Willard McGuire quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Armando Guertin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Burt McIntyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kingsclear FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Burt McIntyre hit a great ball. Andre Quiron kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dee Avalos in the 36th minute of play forced Kingsclear FC's goalkeeper Jordon Achin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Willard McGuire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fairview's supporters rose to their feet, but Willard McGuire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordon Achin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Willard McGuire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Kingsclear FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Hinson to maneuver through the defense. Dee Avalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jordon Achin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gary McLaughlin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Burt McIntyre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denny Becerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Armando Guertin was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Fairview's Andre Quiron got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Burt McIntyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Fairview's goal looked a bit too open when Gary McLaughlin came free, but Denny Becerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burt McIntyre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Denny Becerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Kingsclear FC's Jordon Achin got control of the ball when Dee Avalos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jordon Achin made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Willard McGuire sent off a good shot on target. Kingsclear FC's Burt McIntyre got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Julian Waldron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Fairview booed when Kingsclear FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norman Hinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ben Bousquet hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Dee Avalos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Jordon Achin made a huge save. The Kingsclear FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fairview's performance. The match ended with a win for Fairview.
