Mason Sanders made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Douglas Boyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Denny Becerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willard McGuire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. When Armando Guertin fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fairview's protests and gave Armando Guertin a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Fairview got a freekick which was hit by Armando Guertin. In the 36th minute, Dee Avalos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dee Avalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mason Sanders having to interfere. Willard McGuire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Denny Becerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Boyd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes, Chong Richardson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fairview and the Dodsland players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fairview's Chong Richardson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Robt Lépicier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Becerra having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Willard McGuire got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fairview's goalkeeper Denny Becerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dee Avalos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mason Sanders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Robt Lépicier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dodsland's supporters rose to their feet, but Robt Lépicier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denny Becerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Robt Lépicier made a precise shot to the right of Denny Becerra. Fairview's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Fairview's Armando Guertin got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Armando Guertin off the ground. The supporters of Dodsland booed when Fairview was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Guertin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denny Becerra came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Dodsland's Douglas Boyd. But to his dismay, Douglas Boyd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Douglas Boyd struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Denny Becerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dodsland. Dodsland were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fairview for a fine match.
