Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ashley Morin started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute Derick Keller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mason Sanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mason Sanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derick Keller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes Dodsland got a freekick which was hit by Tod Addison. The supporters of Queenstown FC booed when Dodsland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Schultz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Dodsland's Robt Lépicier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Lam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Douglas Boyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Queenstown FC's zone, Douglas Boyd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Lam came out of the goal and Douglas Boyd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dodsland's Douglas Boyd got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ashley Morin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mason Sanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Granville Goodson charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Granville Goodson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Derick Keller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mason Sanders having to interfere. Ashley Morin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Mason Sanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Douglas Boyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robt Lépicier in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Lam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Lam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robt Lépicier, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Robt Lépicier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Boyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Queenstown FC's Marcus Lam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Boyd in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Queenstown FC's Nathan Henson got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Boyd in the 65th minute of play forced Queenstown FC's goalkeeper Marcus Lam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes Queenstown FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jimmie Schultz who took care of the corner kick. Queenstown FC's Marcus Lam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robt Lépicier in the 68th minute of play. Dodsland's Mason Sanders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Morin in the 70th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Queenstown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robt Lépicier came free, but Marcus Lam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 80 minutes on the clock, Denis Dyer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Dodsland. Jimmie Schultz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcus Lam. 1-0. After having played for 97 minutes, Douglas Boyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dodsland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Boyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
