The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Duane Zimmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duane Zimmer in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronnie Anderson saved Pasqua from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferey Blackwell in the 20th minute of play forced Walsh's goalkeeper Chas Ellison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Walsh's Chas Ellison got control of the ball when Louie Strickland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carol Wells sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jefferey Blackwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pasqua booed when Walsh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duane Zimmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carol Wells hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jefferey Blackwell to make the kick off. Jefferey Blackwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Chas Ellison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duane Zimmer struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ronnie Anderson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walsh. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Carol Wells managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walsh's supporters rose to their feet, but Carol Wells was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Anderson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Carol Wells had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67th play minutes Louie Strickland shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Chas Ellison and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Pasqua booed when Walsh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caleb Schulz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Walsh's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferey Blackwell came free, but Chas Ellison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, one of Walsh:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carol Wells sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duane Zimmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ronnie Anderson made a huge save. If Duane Zimmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Dionne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pasqua support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
