Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Hope's Keenan Alfaro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Keenan Alfaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rhett Mullins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Keenan Alfaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 played minutes Hope got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Shapiro. Sebastian Baca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Santana in the 10th minute of the match. Keenan Alfaro struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Rhett Mullins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hope. Kenora's Rhett Mullins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Kenora from getting a goal against them. Rhett Mullins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keenan Alfaro in the 18th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Alfonso Shapiro made a precise shot to the right of Rhett Mullins. Kenora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rhett Mullins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keenan Alfaro in the 28th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Hope's Rhett Mullins threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Keenan Alfaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 33rd minute Keenan Alfaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhett Mullins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Hope's Keenan Alfaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Sebastian Baca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolph Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Bérubé was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kenora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hope the free kick. Oswaldo Bérubé kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Rhett Mullins came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hope's Keenan Alfaro. But to his dismay, Keenan Alfaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 48th match minute, Kenora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Bérubé to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Santana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thierry Monty kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Keenan Alfaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rhett Mullins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rhett Mullins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Shapiro in the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Ariel Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ariel Santana came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Kenora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Santana couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Baca made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ariel Santana sent off a good shot on target. Alfonso Shapiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhett Mullins having to interfere. Kenora's Ariel Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erasmo Castle hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ariel Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Baca having to interfere. Keenan Alfaro struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Rhett Mullins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hope. The audience was convinced that Keenan Alfaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rhett Mullins was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Thierry Monty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sebastian Baca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hope fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kenora had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
