If Lothaire Pepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hong Bolden fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amulet AFC's protests and gave Hong Bolden a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Amulet AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hong Bolden. In the 31stth minute of the game Lothaire Pepper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amulet AFC's Abraham McDaniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Dewayne Bowles notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Amulet AFC's Abraham McDaniel. Abraham McDaniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute, Hong Bolden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lothaire Pepper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Troy's Jarrod Albrecht collided with an opponent after 40 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. Lothaire Pepper struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Abraham McDaniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Troy. The Amulet AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Troy were winning 0-3.

When Cory Querry fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Troy's protests and gave Cory Querry a yellow card for diving instead. Cory Querry kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Troy's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Mata came free, but Kris McCormick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
