Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Keenan Alfaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Lonnie Sands hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aimé Weber might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Baca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aimé Weber ran back to his position shaking his head. César Laberge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Sebastian Baca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes in the game, Keenan Alfaro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Oswaldo Conn having to interfere. Erasmo Castle kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Hope getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Art Sapp hit a great ball. In the 20th play minute Alfonso Shapiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oswaldo Conn. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Laberge in the 26th minute of play forced Hope's goalkeeper Sebastian Baca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brock Bloom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Baca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Oswaldo Conn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. In the 42nd minute, Alfonso Shapiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Conn was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aimé Weber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oswaldo Conn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keenan Alfaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Sutton FC's Percy Shields got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keenan Alfaro in the 57th minute of play forced Sutton FC's goalkeeper Oswaldo Conn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Sutton FC's Sebastian Baca threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aimé Weber, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sebastian Baca made an important save on a dangerous shot by César Laberge in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Hope getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Erasmo Castle hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Hope's Alfonso Shapiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oswaldo Conn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sutton FC's zone, Alfonso Shapiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswaldo Conn came out of the goal and Alfonso Shapiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keenan Alfaro in the 88th minute of play forced Sutton FC's goalkeeper Oswaldo Conn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Sutton FC's Aimé Weber ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Baca. Sebastian Baca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Hope's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
