Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raul Cagle kicked off to start the match. Jaime Hébert's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kris McCormick firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 8 minutes of play, Troy's Dewayne Bowles made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kyle Pringle was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Cagle in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kris McCormick saved Troy from getting behind. Raul Cagle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kris McCormick having to interfere. Raul Cagle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Troy getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Christophe Jernigan hit a great ball. Princeville's Raul Cagle got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Dewayne Bowles made a precise shot to the right of Kyle Pringle. Princeville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Raul Cagle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kris McCormick was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Dewayne Bowles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Armel Hétu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Princeville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Troy the free kick. After 36 played minutes Princeville got a freekick which was hit by Armel Hétu. Kris McCormick made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Valentine Skinner sent off a good shot on target. Troy's Kris McCormick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Troy from getting a goal against them. Lothaire Pepper struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Kyle Pringle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Troy. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dewayne Bowles made the kick off in the second half. Kris McCormick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Cagle, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Raul Cagle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kris McCormick was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Princeville's zone, Dewayne Bowles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyle Pringle came out of the goal and Dewayne Bowles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Cagle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Kris McCormick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Troy's goalkeeper Kris McCormick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64thth minute of the game Valentine Skinner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Troy's Kris McCormick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raul Cagle took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kris McCormick. Kris McCormick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Valentine Skinner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th play minute Lothaire Pepper came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kyle Pringle. 1-3. Troy's Kris McCormick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Higgins in the 89th minute of play. When Raul Cagle came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Princeville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Cagle couldn't finish the play. The Princeville manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Troy to win.
