Seaforth AFC's Stevie Murphy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Deschênes in the 3rd minute of play. Stevie Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobrin Bozhilski in the 5th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bob McClendon during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bob McClendon hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The Andromedans fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Andromedans's Dobrin Bozhilski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dobrin Bozhilskis short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Stevie Murphy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andromedans's Benton Bartlett got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stevie Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobrin Bozhilski in the 19th minute of play. Stevie Murphy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Deschênes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yong Salmons in the 24th minute of play forced Andromedans's goalkeeper Arturo Garin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Andromedans got a freekick which was hit by Dobrin Bozhilski. In the 27th minute, Bob McClendon made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Garin. Andromedans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Stevie Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobrin Bozhilski in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Cuillerier in the 32nd minute of play forced Seaforth AFC's goalkeeper Stevie Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobrin Bozhilski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Stevie Murphy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Benton Bartlett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andromedans's supporters rose to their feet, but Benton Bartlett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stevie Murphy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dobrin Bozhilski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stevie Murphy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dobrin Bozhilski went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 55 played minutes Andromedans got a freekick which was hit by Justin Zamora. Dobrin Bozhilski scored 4-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stevie Murphy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andromedans's Dobrin Bozhilski got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Dobrin Bozhilski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stevie Murphy was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Arturo Garin was a little too slow when Wilford Delarosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 4-2. If Wilson Deschênes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Andromedans booed when Seaforth AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilford Delarosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Andromedans's Dobrin Bozhilski made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stevie Murphy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bob McClendon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arturo Garin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stevie Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobrin Bozhilski in the 84th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Seaforth AFC's Wilford Delarosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arturo Garin. That made the score 5-3 after 86 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dobrin Bozhilski in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stevie Murphy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Deschênes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dobrin Bozhilski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stevie Murphy having to interfere. Benton Bartlett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andromedans's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
