After a defensive mix-up in Millhaven AFC's zone, Telesphore Engle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylvain Carlson came out of the goal and Telesphore Engle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Bryant Jewell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sylvain Carlson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telesphore Engle, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Jonathon Wheeler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millhaven AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathon Wheeler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Metabechuoan's Telesphore Engle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylvain Carlson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kim Reece showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mervin Prescott, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 28 minutes, Barrett Obrien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Millhaven AFC and the Metabechuoan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Metabechuoan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millhaven AFC the free kick. Mervin Prescott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Reece having to interfere. Arnold Duplessis kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Mervin Prescott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Metabechuoan's Francisco Parks got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Telesphore Engle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvain Carlson having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 57 played minutes Metabechuoan got a freekick which was hit by Brady Elmore. After recieving a nice pass, Millhaven AFC's Antione Gaulin tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Kim Reece showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathon Wheeler in the 60th minute of the match. Metabechuoan's Kim Reece played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathon Wheeler in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Millhaven AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hal Dickinson hit a great ball. Freeman Wise hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes Metabechuoan got a freekick which was hit by Léon Oneil. Sylvain Carlson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telesphore Engle in the 78th minute of the match. If Arnold Duplessis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sylvain Carlson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryant Jewell in the 95th minute of play. Metabechuoan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
