After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Jesse Holland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comber's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesse Holland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcellin Bourgeau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Moises Mott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcellin Bourgeau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Bruno Tremblay managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Murdochville FC's Bruno Raines fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germain Busque during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Murdochville FC got a freekick which was hit by Germain Busque. Gustavo Morin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Tremblay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Raines in the 38th minute. Marcellin Bourgeau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Morin, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Christian Terrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcellin Bourgeau was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

After 92 played minutes Comber got a freekick which was hit by Christian Terrell. Jesse Holloway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Comber had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
