Jeramy Hines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kangerthialuksoak. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moses Robbins made a kick off. Hubert Boulanger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The tension between the Kangerthialuksoak and the Shenacadle AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Shenacadle AFC's zone, Guy Brandt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeramy Hines came out of the goal and Guy Brandt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Shenacadle AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kangerthialuksoak.
