Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Dorsey Brousse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hollyburn's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorsey Brousse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlton Grove breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hollyburn's Aron Lacroix in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Michellton FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute, Dorsey Brousse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlton Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Lacroix in the 13th minute of play. Leandro Thayer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chauncey Braden in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Benedict saved Hollyburn from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Hollyburn's Dorsey Brousse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlton Grove narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chauncey Braden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Benedict having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Hollyburn got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Zamora. Anton Benedict was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Chauncey Braden capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chauncey Braden really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Carlton Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Lacroix in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Dorsey Brousse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chauncey Braden was the one to do the kick off. Anton Benedict took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Thayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Michellton FC booed when Hollyburn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Zamora didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Hollyburn's goal looked a bit too open when Dee Peralta came free, but Anton Benedict reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Thayer in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Benedict saved Hollyburn from getting behind. Leandro Thayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Zamora kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Anton Benedict didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Thayer went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. It was beautiful to see Hollyburn's Millard Thurman in action when he in the 90th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Lacroix in the 93rd minute of play forced Michellton FC's goalkeeper Carlton Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Michellton FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hollyburn had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
