Coy Major showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Vaillancourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Everett Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coy Major having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shelton Leroux during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Sackville got a freekick which was hit by Shelton Leroux. After a rather tough play, Sackville's Géraud Haskins got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 22nd minute, Everett Ponce made a precise shot to the right of Coy Major. Sackville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 26thth minute of the game Everett Ponce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sackville's Coy Major was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vaillancourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Coy Major tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everett Ponce might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Coy Major. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everett Ponce ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute, Géraud Haskins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Julio Vaillancourt came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Nachvak FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Vaillancourt couldn't finish the play. Coy Major showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Gervais, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Nachvak FC got a corner. Sackville's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carey Boyer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Carey Boyer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Coy Major quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vaillancourt might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Coy Major. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julio Vaillancourt ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute, Julio Vaillancourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Nachvak FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everett Ponce to make the kick off. Shelton Leroux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Clinton Orr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Honoré Morin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clinton Orr was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Truman Crandall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sackville's supporters rose to their feet, but Truman Crandall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clinton Orr made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Nachvak FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nachvak FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
