Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Trent Bourgeau made the kick off and thus started the match. When Daniel Brunault came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Woking fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Brunault couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Daniel Brunault fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Matt Reeder, passed just outside the right post. Julien Carlisle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trent Bourgeau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trent Bourgeau in the 25th minute of play forced Woking's goalkeeper Julien Carlisle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Woking's Daniel Brunault made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matt Reeder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Brunault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Matt Reeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Alvin Carlton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julien Carlisle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Trent Bourgeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Woking got a freekick which was hit by Dannie Dent. After 47 minutes Woking's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gérard Kane who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Brunault kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After having played for 49 minutes, Gérard Kane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sombra AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gérard Kane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudolf Grier to make the kick off. Daniel Brunault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Matt Reeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julien Carlisle made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Alvin Carlton sent off a good shot on target. Trent Bourgeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sombra AFC's Matt Reeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Brunault in the 81st minute of play. If Rudolf Grier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Woking booed when Sombra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugues Lott didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute Daniel Brunault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matt Reeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julien Carlisle came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Sombra AFC's Alvin Carlton. But to his dismay, Alvin Carlton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Carlton got free with Julien Carlisle in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 99th minute of the match, Trent Bourgeau tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julien Carlisle saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
