An unexpectedly hard shot by Branden Irvin in the 5th minute of play forced Melocheville's goalkeeper Cristopher Wynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Melocheville's zone, Leopoldo Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristopher Wynn came out of the goal and Leopoldo Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Melocheville's Oswaldo Villeneuve got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Branden Irvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristopher Wynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joesph Escobar hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Melocheville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baptiste Looney to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Josh Goguen made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Mattice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desmond Hodges to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Mattice's goalkeeper John Cornett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Morris. Simon Morris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Cornett having to interfere. Branden Irvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristopher Wynn having to interfere. If Leopoldo Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Morris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristopher Wynn having to make a save. Cristopher Wynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Navarro in the 90th minute of play. Cristopher Wynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Oswaldo Villeneuve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mattice had won after a very even match.
