After 11th play minutes Cole Waite shot 1-0, a short shot which went by John Cornett and just under the crossbar into goal. 16 minutes into the game, Desmond Hodges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mattice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llavallol the free kick. A collision led to Mattice getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Desmond Hodges hit a great ball. Cole Waite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but John Cornett made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Cole Waite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llavallol's supporters rose to their feet, but Cole Waite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Cornett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jefferson Land hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Joseph Conner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branden Irvin in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Mattice got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Navarro. John Cornett made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Cole Waite sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Mattice's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Lajoie came free, but John Cornett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bulut Akyazıcıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Bulut Akyazıcıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Cornett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Cornett made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Cole Waite sent off a good shot on target. Leopoldo Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cole Waite to make the kick off. John Cornett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cole Waite, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cole Waite in the 53rd minute of play forced Mattice's goalkeeper John Cornett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Navarro got free with Joseph Conner in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cole Waite in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Cornett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mattice getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Warren Chabot hit a great ball. Cole Waite took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Cornett. John Cornett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Leopoldo Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Conner having to interfere. John Cornett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cole Waite's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Cole Waite came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Llavallol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cole Waite couldn't finish the play. John Cornett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cole Waite in the 79th minute of play. If Levi Bender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Herbert Bertrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mattice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hubert Champagne was slow to take the kick. During this time Llavallol's players had a chance to rest. Llavallol's Hubert Champagne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but John Cornett in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. There was no doubt that Llavallol were the better team. Llavallol's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
