Vincent Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Baker in the 30th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Elliott Baker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maryfield AFC's Vincent Velazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Fishels FC's Eliseo Oneill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincent Velazquez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Eliseo Oneill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Vincent Velazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Baker spun around in front of the goal 45 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Maryfield AFC's goal. The Maryfield AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fishels FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarrett Locke was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Maryfield AFC's Whitney Henrichon got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes in the game, Elliott Baker fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vincent Velazquez having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Elliott Baker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fishels FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliott Baker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Parrish took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trinidad Ayers. Trinidad Ayers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 71 minutes into the game, Elliott Baker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vincent Velazquez. Elliott Baker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After 76 minutes, Ambrose Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maryfield AFC and the Fishels FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maryfield AFC's Ambrose Rosado got a free kick in the 76th minute. Vincent Velazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyron Guertin in the 77th minute. The attack was good, but when Elliott Baker in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Elliott Baker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Velazquez having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Maryfield AFC's goalkeeper Vincent Velazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Oneill. After 96 played minutes Maryfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rickie Gregoire. If Elliott Baker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute.
