After having played for 14 minutes, Kristopher Roman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thornhill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristopher Roman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 played minutes Mattice got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Asselin. John Cornett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristopher Roman's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Mattice's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Blackman came free, but John Cornett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branden Irvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Branden Irvin to strike the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donte Darling having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Branden Irvin made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Thornhill's Donte Darling tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Bradly Hewitt fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thornhill's protests and gave Bradly Hewitt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mattice booed when Thornhill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradly Hewitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Broderick Tessier fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thornhill's protests and gave Broderick Tessier a yellow card for diving instead. Broderick Tessier kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Mattice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Asselin to maneuver through the defense. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Thornhill would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
