After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Elijah Edwards managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winisk's supporters rose to their feet, but Elijah Edwards was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristopher Wynn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Winisk booed when Melocheville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baptiste Looney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melocheville's Cristopher Wynn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elijah Edwards in the 14th minute of play. When Josh Goguen fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melocheville's protests and gave Josh Goguen a yellow card for diving instead. Josh Goguen hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Elijah Edwards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristopher Wynn having to interfere. The supporters of Melocheville booed when Winisk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shelby Ohara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruce Babin's late challenge caught a Melocheville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruce Babin helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Melocheville got a freekick which was hit by Simon Morris. Melocheville's Cristopher Wynn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elijah Edwards in the 36th minute of play. If Simon Morris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42ndth minute of the game Josh Goguen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winisk's Bryce McBride was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bryce McBride made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Morris in the 44th minute. If Josh Goguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 49th minute of the game. One of Winisk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Melocheville:s goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elijah Edwards to strike the kick off in the second half. Melocheville's Simon Morris got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Morris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidore Melvin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Bryce McBride took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Morris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baptiste Looney got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 70th minute, Baptiste Looney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristopher Wynn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elijah Edwards's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Melocheville's Cristopher Wynn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Melocheville from getting a goal against them. Simon Morris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Morris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Carl Ellis could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Cristopher Wynn however easily saved by the left post. Simon Morris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
