Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jordan Corey started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ochiltree's Joan Edmonds pulled a muscle in his back after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Lemaître during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thurman Medley hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Gale Tinsley's late challenge caught a Ochiltree's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gale Tinsley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Gale Tinsley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bill McKenzie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Sebastian Walton made a huge save. Jordan Corey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bill McKenzie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wetaskiwin FC's zone, Thurman Medley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Walton came out of the goal and Thurman Medley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bill McKenzie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sebastian Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wetaskiwin FC's zone, René Leduc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Walton came out of the goal and René Leduc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bill McKenzie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Walton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Filiberto Hay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matt Boivin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Wetaskiwin FC's zone, Norris Abrams stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Walton came out of the goal and Norris Abrams tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ochiltree:s Filiberto Hay showed great skill when he stopped Dalton Sullivan:s penalty. Dalton Sullivan scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filiberto Hay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34thth minute of the game Matt Boivin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ochiltree's Filiberto Hay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 played minutes Wetaskiwin FC got a freekick which was hit by Collin Harden. In the 39th match minute, Wetaskiwin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Saucier to maneuver through the defense. Norris Abrams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Walton having to interfere. Bill McKenzie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Sebastian Walton made a huge save. After the first half Wetaskiwin FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bill McKenzie to make the kick off. Bill McKenzie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd match minute, Wetaskiwin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gale Tinsley to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Walton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thurman Medley in the 61st minute of play. Wetaskiwin FC's Sebastian Walton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bill McKenzie in the 66th minute of play. If Bill McKenzie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thurman Medley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Wetaskiwin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bill McKenzie came free, but Sebastian Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill McKenzie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Walton having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Matt Boivin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wetaskiwin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matt Boivin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Hay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Denis Saucier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Wetaskiwin FC's zone, Bill McKenzie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Walton came out of the goal and Bill McKenzie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. René Leduc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Thurman Medley came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ochiltree fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thurman Medley couldn't finish the play. Although Ochiltree had been in control for most of the match, Wetaskiwin FC still came away with the win.
