Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mickey Grondin made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute, Reynaldo Staley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Earnest Devine was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th match minute, Routhierville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Brandt to maneuver through the defense. Rosario Hinds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mickey Grondin in the 19th minute of the match. When Mickey Grondin came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Maynooth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mickey Grondin couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Maynooth's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Labrosse came free, but Earnest Devine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Routhierville FC's Hubert Labrosse in 30 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Earnest Devine guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Rosario Hinds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mickey Grondin in the 33rd minute of the match. Fidel Manuel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosario Hinds read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Fidel Manuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Staley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Earnest Devine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Hubert Labrosse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Earnest Devine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Earnest Devine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Staley in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hubert Labrosse to strike the kick off in the second half. Francesco Brandt charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francesco Brandt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Routhierville FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Francesco Brandt hit a great ball. Mickey Grondin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Hinds having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Maynooth's Milford Bourgeau got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Routhierville FC's goalkeeper Rosario Hinds, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Maynooth's Mickey Grondin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosario Hinds narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, Maynooth's Fidel Manuel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosario Hinds was left in no man's land by his defense there! Larry Franco lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 81st match minute, Routhierville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Larry Franco to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Maynooth's zone, Reynaldo Staley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Earnest Devine came out of the goal and Reynaldo Staley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Staley got free with Earnest Devine in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute of the match Eloi Huggins sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosario Hinds skillfully saved the ball.
