Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 5 minutes Kincardine AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Scott Morton who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ochiltree's corner Scott Morton fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stéphane Zamora quite easily take care of the ball. In the 11th match minute, Kincardine AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Bailey to maneuver through the defense. Bill McKenzie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Stéphane Zamora skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jules Blair hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Bill McKenzie scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stéphane Zamora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ochiltree's René Leduc got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Joan Edmonds managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ochiltree's supporters rose to their feet, but Joan Edmonds was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stéphane Zamora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joan Edmonds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stéphane Zamora having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bill McKenzie got free with Stéphane Zamora in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. René Leduc hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kincardine AFC's zone, Joan Edmonds stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stéphane Zamora came out of the goal and Joan Edmonds tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bill McKenzie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joan Edmonds in the 46th minute of play forced Kincardine AFC's goalkeeper Stéphane Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berry Larsen in the 47th minute of play forced Ochiltree's goalkeeper Filiberto Hay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Kincardine AFC's Stéphane Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joan Edmonds in the 53rd minute of play. In the 60th minute, Emerson Bailey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stéphane Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bill McKenzie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Thurman Medley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ochiltree's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thurman Medley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joan Edmonds in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stéphane Zamora saved Kincardine AFC from getting behind. Kincardine AFC's Stéphane Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joan Edmonds in the 76th minute of play. When Joan Edmonds came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ochiltree fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joan Edmonds couldn't finish the play. When Ike Newcomb fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ochiltree's protests and gave Ike Newcomb a yellow card for diving instead. 93 minutes into the game, one of Ochiltree:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
