The audience was convinced that Israel McCann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vince Jarrell was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Gambo's Rocco Creech got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ivan Tilley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Wang in the 16th minute of the match. Vantage AFC's Ivan Tilley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Wang in the 18th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Gambo got a freekick which was hit by Harrison Bain. When Israel McCann came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Vantage AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel McCann couldn't finish the play. Vince Jarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ellsworth Spicer, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The crowd rose to their feet as Vantage AFC's Israel McCann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vince Jarrell. That made the score 0-2 after 56 minutes of play. Israel McCann struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Vince Jarrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vantage AFC. Vince Jarrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellsworth Spicer in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ellsworth Spicer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vantage AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ellsworth Spicer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vince Jarrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo DuLin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes in the game, Israel McCann fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vince Jarrell having to interfere. Ivan Tilley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo DuLin in the 92nd minute of the match. Ken Williams kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Eddie Short fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vantage AFC's protests and gave Eddie Short a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, one of Vantage AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vantage AFC. The referee gave Gambo a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Asa Chaney, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vantage AFC's Ivan Tilley. 2-3. When the match was over Vantage AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gambo throughout the match.
