Ivan Tilley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurence Gervais, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Vantage AFC's Brady Fraser suffered a sprained foot after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Vantage AFC booed when Prospect FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiley Mann didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Prospect FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Edward Michael hit a great ball. Laurent Middleton made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Israel McCann sent off a good shot on target. Ivan Tilley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The wind increased when Israel McCann made the kick off in the second half. Ken Williams's late challenge caught a Prospect FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ken Williams helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Vantage AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ken Williams. Dick Poisson, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 56th minute, Gérald Heard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivan Tilley. The goal made the score 0-3. Laurent Middleton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Israel McCann went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 77th minute of the match, Laurence Gervais tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivan Tilley saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ken Williams hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Laurence Gervais recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivan Tilley. Laurence Gervais showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Laurent Middleton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Riley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Gervais in the 91st minute of play forced Vantage AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Tilley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 97 minutes, Gérald Heard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prospect FC and the Vantage AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vantage AFC booed when Prospect FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gérald Heard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospect FC played a much better game than Vantage AFC and deserved their victory. The Vantage AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
