Beebe's Bernie Arroyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmad Jeffries in the 5th minute of play. Ricardo Goddard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bernie Arroyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonzo Abrams struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Jere Gill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beebe. If Alfonzo Abrams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Beebe's Bernie Arroyo got control of the ball when Ricardo Goddard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jere Gill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmie Gorman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmad Jeffries in the 33rd minute of play forced Beebe's goalkeeper Bernie Arroyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Goddard struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Bernie Arroyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goodwater FC. In the 36th minute, Demetrius Grimes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beebe's Alfonzo Abrams got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Goddard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernie Arroyo having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ahmad Jeffries made the kick off in the second half. Alfonzo Abrams scored 0-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jere Gill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goodwater FC's goalkeeper Jere Gill, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmad Jeffries in the 65th minute of play forced Beebe's goalkeeper Bernie Arroyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Beebe's Asa Richards got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jere Gill. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonzo Abrams got free with Jere Gill in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 minutes, Denis Cronin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goodwater FC and the Beebe players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Goodwater FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Denis Cronin hit a great ball. Alfonzo Abrams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Beebe's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmad Jeffries came free, but Bernie Arroyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernie Arroyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmad Jeffries, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmad Jeffries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernie Arroyo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Ahmad Jeffries put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Bernie Arroyo. The Beebe supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Beebe would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
