Midhurst's Fredric Duran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Cates in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Dick Parker made a precise shot to the right of Fredric Duran. Midhurst's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 77 minutes, Antonia Fair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anyox FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonia Fair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredric Duran had great luck who in the 78thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sam Cates from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 80th minute, Midhurst's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dick Parker fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sam Cates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Duran having to interfere. Sam Cates's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredric Duran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Midhurst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keenan Scales to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sam Cates in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredric Duran saved Midhurst from getting behind. After 90 played minutes Midhurst got a freekick which was hit by Mel Rosa. Fredric Duran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Cates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
