A very good chance for a goal. 6 minutes into the game, Miocene's Clyde Vogt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustino Dubois made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Faustino Dubois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Solomon Hollingsworth's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Clyde Vogt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Barton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Dowdy went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Wyatt Powell came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Taloyoak FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wyatt Powell couldn't finish the play. After 30 played minutes Miocene got a freekick which was hit by Travis Guinn. Oscar Dowdy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arturo Barton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wyatt Powell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marlin Skaggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wyatt Powell struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Arturo Barton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taloyoak FC.

The wind increased when Solomon Hollingsworth made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Miocene booed when Taloyoak FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esmé Funk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taloyoak FC's Faustino Dubois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Taloyoak FC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Solomon Hollingsworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Dubois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Solomon Hollingsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Faustino Dubois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Miocene's zone, Oscar Dowdy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Barton came out of the goal and Oscar Dowdy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wyatt Powell in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Barton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Solomon Hollingsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Faustino Dubois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Miocene's Lyle Grubb got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Wyatt Powell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Oscar Dowdy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Barton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miocene's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
