In the 7th minute Hagersville AFC were awarded a corner. Perceval Marcoux went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Marcellin Frye got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Odis Bragg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tuan Looney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Engle having to interfere. The supporters of Shabaqua FC booed when Hagersville AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcellin Frye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bryan Crews kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Corey McCauley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hagersville AFC's Corey McCauley got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Hagersville AFC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Hagersville AFC's Johnny McNair looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johnny McNair stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Corey McCauley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Odis Bragg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scot Naquin's late challenge caught a Shabaqua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Scot Naquin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hagersville AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Scot Naquin hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Johnny McNair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Odis Bragg was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Julian Alvarado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Hagersville AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Shabaqua FC:s goal. Bryan Crews charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryan Crews the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Hagersville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Crews. With a little luck, Shabaqua FC's Odis Bragg got control of the ball when Corey McCauley tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Corey McCauley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Odis Bragg made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Corey McCauley sent off a good shot on target. Emerson Caron hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Hagersville AFC's Deon Thorpe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Corey McCauley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Odis Bragg having to make a save. A collision led to Shabaqua FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Roland Law hit a great ball. Perceval Marcoux took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Odis Bragg. Shabaqua FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
