Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Lyle Christie made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Edzo AFC's Justin Bernard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Austin Benedict narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Derek Edmonds took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyle Christie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Griffins AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Absolon Gonzalez came free, but Austin Benedict reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Ruth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Austin Benedict tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Absolon Gonzalez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Anton Ruth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Absolon Gonzalez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Austin Benedict was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 67th match minute, Griffins AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Burnett to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Edzo AFC's Marion Brunelle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Austin Benedict narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Austin Benedict showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Ruth, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Yong Weathers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derek Edmonds having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Jonathon Gibson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Griffins AFC's Austin Benedict. Austin Benedict was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yong Weathers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edzo AFC's Anton Ruth got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Absolon Gonzalez took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Austin Benedict. Austin Benedict dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of Griffins AFC booed when Edzo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathon Gibson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edzo AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Griffins AFC for a fine match.
