Todd Hawkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Virgilio Quintana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Terrell Cope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Senneville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Glidden AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Arias came free, but Virgilio Quintana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Glidden AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Givens. 18 minutes into the game, one of Morson FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Glidden AFC a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Russel Matos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Morson FC's Eddie Senneville. 0-1. If Darell McKinley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Glidden AFC's goalkeeper Virgilio Quintana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Todd Hawkins. Virgilio Quintana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Allen in the 28th minute of the match. If Terrell Cope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Todd Hawkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Quintana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Donat Moser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Todd Hawkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Todd Hawkins made the kick off in the second half. Todd Hawkins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgilio Quintana having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Glidden AFC's zone, Todd Hawkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Quintana came out of the goal and Todd Hawkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donat Moser got free with Eddie Senneville in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Eddie Senneville successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Morson FC's Eddie Senneville proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Morson FC from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the game, Terrell Cope recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eddie Senneville. Terrell Cope showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 77th minute, Terrell Cope reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eddie Senneville. The goal made the score 0-3. Virgilio Quintana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duncan Blanton in the 81st minute of the match. Darell McKinley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Quintana having to interfere. After 96 played minutes, Morson FC's Oswaldo Deschenes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgilio Quintana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Morson FC reached it. Glidden AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
