Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) René Desjardins made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Luc Cartier sent off a good shot on target. Mark Bairds short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got René Desjardins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 11th match minute, Oakburn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clarence Pollard to maneuver through the defense. Mark Baird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Ali Hubbard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kent Patel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Young D'Avis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Porter Byers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beverly's Art Rushing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luc Cartier's late challenge caught a Oakburn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luc Cartier helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Beverly's Luc Cartier got a free kick in the 27th minute. Art Rushing came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakburn's Porter Byers. But to his dismay, Porter Byers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Oakburn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Dong Parmentier scored to the left of an out of position René Desjardins, making the score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Dong Parmentier made the kick off in the second half. Géraud Burgess could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Art Rushing made a huge save. René Desjardins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dong Parmentier in the 59th minute of play. René Desjardins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dong Parmentier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Art Rushing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Géraud Burgess in the 63rd minute. Art Rushing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porter Byers, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Mark Baird recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Porter Byers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Rushing having to interfere. Dong Parmentier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. René Desjardins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dong Parmentier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. René Desjardins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Baird in the 97th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
