Milford Dobson kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Winford Maurer in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Sidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haïti FC's Perceval Hollis got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 10 in the game by Coy Marseau from a close distance when the talented Corey McCollum managed to make a qualified save. Doussal FC's players were relieved. The Haïti FC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Haïti FC's Coy Marseau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fredrick Daugherty took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wawrzyniec Sidor. Wawrzyniec Sidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Coy Marseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Winford Maurer made a precise shot to the right of Wawrzyniec Sidor. Haïti FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 45 minutes into the match, Haïti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrick Daugherty came free, but Wawrzyniec Sidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Murry walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredrick Daugherty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Perceval Hollis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corey McCollum having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Doussal FC's Sherwood Guertin got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Milford Dobson came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Haïti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milford Dobson couldn't finish the play. Coy Marseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, Santiago Rosado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Doussal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haïti FC the free kick. After 66 played minutes Doussal FC got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Rosado. Coy Marseau struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Corey McCollum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haïti FC. If Perceval Hollis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Perceval Steward during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrick Daugherty in the 89th minute of play forced Haïti FC's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Sidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrick Daugherty received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wawrzyniec Sidor came out and tried to block the shot, but Fredrick Daugherty slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 91st minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Coy Marseau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doussal FC's Corey McCollum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Coy Marseau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Corey McCollum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
