After 5 minutes, Moises Murry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doussal FC and the FriBeRtz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moises Murry hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes FriBeRtz FC got a freekick which was hit by Lacy Ashby. FriBeRtz FC's Alberto Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save FriBeRtz FC from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Perceval Brand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 19 minutes, Francesco Demers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FriBeRtz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Demers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Corbett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francesco Demers might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corey McCollum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francesco Demers ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 26 minutes, Benjamin Corbett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FriBeRtz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Corbett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Silas Bridges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corey McCollum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Corbett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FriBeRtz FC's Benjamin Corbett got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francesco Demers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fredrick Daugherty was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Benjamin Corbett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corey McCollum was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 65 minutes into the match, Doussal FC's goalkeeper Corey McCollum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lacy Ashby. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Benjamin Corbett managed to get in a good position for a shot. FriBeRtz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Corbett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corey McCollum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 67 minutes, Benjamin Corbett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
