If Alphonse Woodall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jose Grove came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Chetican FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Grove couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Chetican FC's Boyd Paulson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Jose Grove fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryon Wu having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Chetican FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Blair came free, but Gary Lipscomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gary Lipscomb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosario Blair's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Gary Lipscomb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alphonse Woodall in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute Alphonse Woodall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Lipscomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Boyd Paulson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bryon Wu was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When Rancheria FC's Alphonse Woodall in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 59 minutes, Lindsay Dodson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rancheria FC and the Chetican FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rancheria FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Lindsay Dodson hit a great ball. Jose Grove sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Rosario Blair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Lipscomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Chetican FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Blair came free, but Gary Lipscomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alphonse Woodalls short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Gary Lipscomb to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 68 minutes into the match, Chetican FC's goalkeeper Gary Lipscomb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alphonse Woodall. In the 69th minute, Alphonse Woodall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 71 minutes, Alphonse Woodall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rancheria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alphonse Woodall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Alphonse Woodall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rancheria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alphonse Woodall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gary Lipscomb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alphonse Woodall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
