Mark Baird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dong Parmentier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Corey McCollum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corey McCollum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dong Parmentier in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Beverly's Dong Parmentier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Corey McCollum. Corey McCollum yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Mark Baird had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Winford Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Rushing having to interfere. Winford Maurer took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Art Rushing. Art Rushing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Corey McCollum made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Mark Baird sent off a good shot on target. Dong Parmentier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredrick Daugherty made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Fredrick Daugherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Art Rushing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Art Rushing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrick Daugherty in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Beverly's Dong Parmentier made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corey McCollum was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mark Baird had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Beverly's Art Rushing got control of the ball when Winford Maurer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 played minutes Fredrick Daugherty rounded Beverly's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. In the 85th minute Dong Parmentier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corey McCollum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Mark Baird got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fredrick Daugherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Rushing having to interfere. Mark Baird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Corey McCollum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
